“The Seven Deadly Sins” St Augustine originally wrote about these 7 most common ‘trip-ups’ in our daily lives. Believe it or not, ALL of us struggle with ALL 7 of these (in one form or another). We don’t realize how we do, but that is exactly the nature of why they trip us up! As we approach the season of Lent– it is an awesome time to look at ourselves and see where our problems lie… so let’s talk about our trip-ups! Come to Worship!

People don't want to believe that they do ANY of these, but in reality we ALL do EVERY single one regularly! That is why Augustine first regarded them as 'deadly' sins! We don't see them in ourselves, and we don't want to!

Pride is the origin of all sin and is always tied to every sin. It's only by putting ourselves FIRST, that we find ourselves at the back of the line.

Apathy is always the easiest sin. Choosing not to care or refusing to make a choice doesn't avoid consequences.
