RUMC has been active in Samaritan's Purse Ministry for years, packing Christmas boxes for children around the world. Last year, we packed 126 boxes! RUMC is the drop-off location for OCC in the Coshocton area- which collected 1,180 boxes last year! The boxes are just a fraction of the ministry Samaritan's purse does, bringing bibles, Christian curriculum and the message of Jesus tot he whole world! Want to know more? Be Brave Sewing Ministry creates 'port access' shirts for children who are receiving chemo treatments at Children's Hospital in Columbus. The kits are available at the church. 63 shirts that were created and prayed over in love, were delivered this last Fall to a grateful hospital and some amazing families. Roscoe Church helped in a community, Multi-Church project with FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) providing over 500 backpacks filled with supplies to local school children who were in need. RUMC teams up with Coshocton JFS every year to help with families that are in need. We provide gifts (anonymously through JFS) for kiddos, to help bring the Hope, Peace, Joy and Love to children's lives for families that might not be able to provide gifts at Christmastime.
