“The Seven Deadly Sins” St Augustine originally wrote about these 7 most common ‘trip-ups’ in our daily lives. Believe it or not, ALL of us struggle with ALL 7 of these (in one form or another). We don’t realize how we do, but that is exactly the nature of why they trip us up! As we approach the season of Lent– it is an awesome time to look at ourselves and see where our problems lie… so let’s talk about our trip-ups! Come to Worship!

Feb 16-

Se7en
People don't want to believe that they do ANY of these, but in reality we ALL do EVERY single one regularly! That is why Augustine first regarded them as 'deadly' sins! We don't see them in ourselves, and we don't want to!

Feb 23-

Pride
Pride is the origin of all sin and is always tied to every sin. It's only by putting ourselves FIRST, that we find ourselves at the back of the line.

Mar 2-

Sloth
Apathy is always the easiest sin. Choosing not to care or refusing to make a choice doesn't avoid consequences.

Take the time for this very short evening service, in starting of the season of Lent with repentance, prayer and submission to God's Love.

Lust
Lust has caused SO many problems in the course of human history. Come to hear God's answers to this very common struggle.

Greed
Greed isn't just a focus on money. Greed can stretch into a variety of personal struggles, which all tie back to a common thread. Gather together to overcome this common problem.

Envy is so much more than just simple jealousy. Envy is a personal judgment of others and yourself that can lead to dangerous and darker troubles.

Gluttony

Gluttony includes a WIDE variety of addictions, struggles and indulgences. It is all the things that we use to try to replace the emptiness within us- where God is missing.

Apr 13- PALM SUNDAY!

Wrath

Wrath is anger that has become unhinged. Wrath is our raw animalistic nature getting unleashed. No one wins through wrath.
