What Parts of the Bible Apply to Me?
It seems a lot of people pick and choose the parts of the Bible that they want to follow. Is that OK to do? What if some parts of the Bible REALLY challenge me- and confront my way of life? Should I look for the parts of the Bible that agree with my way of seeing things? To read the Bible WELL- who's priority of opinion takes the precedence- Mine or God's? |

Do I Have to Enforce the Bible?I see a lot of other Christians, both historically and today- that seem to feel that their job is to police all of humanity and MAKE people believe. IS that what God expects me to do with the Bible? DO I have to enforce God's Law? If not- then what am I supposed to do?

Why Does God Want Me to Read the Bible?This swings back around to an earlier question: What is MY purpose in God's plan? It seems very important in this Faith that I make time to read God's Word. What if I don't have time? What if I don't want to? Why is this so important?
