Let's face it, our lives can often feel like they are surrounded by all the troubles of the world. We can FEEL the hate, bitterness, rage and frustration of these turbulent times all around us! God wants to change that! As we explored in the last sermon series- we were made to be a conduit of God's Grace, to empower the world. If we can choose to follow Christ (that's kinda what 'being a Christian' means) - we can become a power source that begins to change the world around us! How do we do that? We have to love in the same way that Jesus loves; to love the same people that Jesus loves. SO- come learn how to make a change in yourself- so you can change the world! See you at 8:30am or 10:30am or online!

God
It's pretty easy to love God. I know it's also easy to blame God and to be angry about a lot of things we (choose to) see are His fault, but speaking truthfully... really truthfully... ALL the problems in this world come back on us. God never planned for us to have war, disease, hate or even death! We invented those things. Let's talk about what happens if we get back to LOVING GOD with our whole heart! |

One Another
Loving the people we LIKE to love is easy! There are PLENTY of people in our lives that we enjoy being around and we LOVE them! At the same time, it's important to see WHY we love them, and to understand that not everyone has that same kind of love in their hearts. Equally, some people love others for all the wrong reasons! |

Self
Some people really struggle with seeing ANYTHING lovable about themselves (I'm guilty of that). Other people are SO in love with themselves, that there isn't much room for anyone or anything else! God wants us to find a healthy balance in our self-image. We need to be able to see ourselves with the same pride, confidence and love that Jesus sees us! |

The Outsider
Loving 'the outsider' can be tough- but only as long as we want to embrace fear. We live in a time when we have been steadily programmed to be afraid of EVERYTHING different from ourselves, but Jesus never had those limitations! Come find the freedom that exists in allowing yourself to be open and to remove those boundaries that have you so afraid of the 'unknown'! |

Enemies
Jesus doesn't have any enemies. Believers have certainly tried to invent some for Jesus- but they just don't exist. Jesus even had mercy on demons! (Mark 5:13) Jesus knows the amazing transformation and power that comes to the world- when we can choose to end conflict and invite God into our troubles. It is difficult, but we need to CHOOSE LOVE- and allow even our enemies to find some change! |
Mar 29- PALM SUNDAY!
Apr 2- Maundy Thursday
Christian Seder- 6:30pmPlease consider sharing in this amazing tradition of the Holy Jewish Seder, just as Jesus shared with His Disciples at the Last Supper, but translated into our Christian faith. This 'meal' is a ritualistic celebration (not a full meal), which uses several symbolic elements to help us to fully appreciate both the sacrifice and the glory of Jesus' great gift to us! Click below to show your interest in attending (so we know how many folks to prepare for!).
